How to Measure

Height/Length

Lay your baby on a flat surface and measure from the top of their head to the bottom of their heel. For toddlers who can stand, measure against a wall.

Weight

Use a baby scale for infants, or weigh yourself holding your baby and subtract your weight for older babies and toddlers.

Chest

Measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms.

Sizing Tips

  • When in doubt, size up. Babies grow quickly, and slightly larger clothes will last longer.
  • Consider the season. If buying ahead, think about what size your baby will be during that season.
  • Check product descriptions. Some items run large or small, which we note in the description.
  • Cotton shrinks. 100% cotton items may shrink slightly after washing.

Brand Variations

Please note that sizing can vary between brands. The measurements above are general guidelines. Each product listing includes specific measurements where available.
