Second Snuggles is a small, independent resale shop for pre-loved kids' clothing, based in Ottawa, Ontario.
Children outgrow clothes in months, not years. The outfits that replace them are expensive, and the old ones usually end up in a bag in the closet — or worse, in landfill. Second-hand kids' clothing is an obvious fix, but the experience is usually messy: inconsistent sizing, unclear condition, poor photos, hit-and-miss quality.
We're trying to do it differently. Every item here is photographed individually, measured, graded on a consistent scale, and priced to move. No hidden flaws. No "might be 2T, might be 3T." What you see is what ships.
How it works
We intake garments from trusted local sources, inspect each piece, photograph and measure it, and list it as a one-of-one. When it sells, it's gone from the shop — which is why we say "grab it if you spot it." We don't restock duplicates.
Values
- Honest grading. Condition matters more than brand. A "Good" Zara is a better buy than a "Play condition" Patagonia if what you need is clothes that'll survive your kid.
- Fair pricing. Priced to move, not to max out.
- Small is fine. We're not trying to scale into everything-for-everyone. We do pre-loved kids' clothing, that's it.
- Sustainable by design. Every item sold here is one less new garment manufactured and one less used garment in landfill.
